Happy new year!

As usual, it’s all go at the Toy Library. We’ve seen some changes in staffing and volunteers: Marilyn has left, and has been replaced by Helen Crockford (previous committee chair!) who will run the sessions on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. She's already planning all sorts of exciting new activities!

We also have five new family support volunteers to welcome members and help the children. They are Paulette Nash, Priyanka Pandey, Verona Walcott, Falastin Warsame and Sarah Medhurst.

And we've got a couple of brilliant fund-raisers coming up – a pamper evening, and table top sale. See below!

Pamper evening, 25 February, 7-10pm

These long chilly evenings getting you down? Had quite enough of winter? Need a pick-me-up? Well come along to the toy library’s pamper evening, with cheese, wine, music, the odd treatment, and the chance to buy yourself a little something.

Tickets £5, including cheese and wine. Treatments extra! Available from the Toy Library from February.

Table top sale, 25 March, 10-12am

Don’t eBay those unwanted Christmas presents just yet! Sell them at our table top sale instead. For just £10 you can hire a table and sell anything you like, from nearly new children's clothes and toys to crafts or vintage clothes. You could even share a table with a friend.

Or, if you just fancy picking up a bargain, come along and have a browse! And if that weren’t enough to tempt you, don't forget our traditionally rather fabulous cake stall will be there…

And finally… Yoga

Did you know that adult, pregnancy, parent and baby and toddlers/children's yoga classes run in the Toy Library, and other local venues? And if you’re expecting, why not try the yoga for birth workshop on Sunday 11 March.  For more details please contact Helen on 07939 607853 or email walthamstowvillageyoga@hotmail.co.uk.
