You can drop in to our Walthamstow or Leytonstone site to borrow toys between 9.30am and 3.30pm Monday to Friday. There’s no need to book in advance – just turn up. If you want to check toy availability, email the Operations Manager.
We are also operating a Mobile Toy Library service for Waltham Forest residents – you can get toys delivered to your door every Friday! You must book your slot in advance on Ticketlab. We ask for a minimum hire spend of £15. Ticket sales stop at midday and we deliver in the afternoon.
Looking for some new toys for your child to play with at home? The Toy Library has a fantastic range of toys available for hire from jigsaw puzzles to dressing-up clothes and outdoor play equipment. You can hire toys for as little as £1 for 2 weeks.

If you have overdue items, you can renew by calling 020 8509 3401 or emailing the Toy Library otherwise there will be a charge for late returns.
Lots of our toys have been kindly donated from community and have been saved from landfill. We love being an environmentally conscious charity. If you’d like to donate to the Toy Library, please look at our donate and support page.
