Hello all

There's lots going on at the toy library at the moment, with our sessions packed out and fund-raising events coming thick and fast. Do support them if you can – we receive no funding, and without successful money-raising events would have to close down. What's more, they're good fun!

Table top sale
Sunday 25 March, 10 til 12

Love a bargain? Fancy a rummage? Then come to our table top sale, where there'll be everything from new and nearly new children’s toys and clothes, to local handmade products and craft packs.  Come and bag yourself a deal, then celebrate with a cuppa and delicious morsel from our famous cake stall.
Adults £1  Children free

Saturday morning sessions
From 17 March, we're going to be running a trial month of Saturday morning sessions. Running 10 til 12 as usual, they will be informal play sessions – with tea, coffee and hopefully cake – for under 5s and their mums, dads, grans or friends who miss out during the week! Or, indeed, anyone who wants to come.

Spread the word!

May Fair: can you help?
Sooner than we know it, our famous May Fair will be upon us once again. This year it will be held on 20 May, with (hopefully) the usual array of games, craft activities, stalls and general high jinks. I say 'hopefully' as without willing bodies to help us man a stall, make a cake, donate to the raffle or generally lend a hand, it will be a mere shadow of its former self.

It's our biggest fund-raiser of the year, and we rely on it being a success.

So, go on. Lend a hand! Your toy library needs you! If you'd like to volunteer, email me at committee@walthamstowtoylibrary.org.
