Baby Yoga and Core Restore For Mum and Baby
Monday afternoons, 1.00 – 2.00pm with Melissa Gaul
This class aims to relax, strengthen and stretch postnatal mums and babies.
Baby will also gain increased joint mobility and brain organisation & coordination.
By remaining close to mum throughout the workout, the mum and
baby bond will be reinforced. The mother will slowly recover through the
teaching of safe core strengthening (including the pelvic floor), breathing
exercises and working through pregnancy & postnatal related issues. Tips will
be included throughout the workout that can be used in everyday life.

Melissa is an experienced Pre & Postnatal instructor at level 3, Fitness Instructor at level 2,
both held with the YMCA with nearly 7 years teaching experience and is a Baby &
Children’s Yoga teacher. Additional courses held in Core Stability, Supple Strength (Blend
of Yoga & Pilates), Sculpt, and Nutrition in relation to exercise. In addition she is fully
insured with Fitpro and DSC insurance Yoga-Link and holds a current First Aid
